My View From The Front Porch

February 18, 2015 by Leave a Comment

Being here alone this evening I made the rounds and checked the livestock, fed the dogs and put up the chickens.  I then fed Chance, our orphan lamb, a bottle.  While Chance played with the dogs I rolled six angels on horseback (shrimp and jalapeno rolled in bacon) and cut some ranch fries.  While that was cooking I made my grandmother’s German Egg Custard.  As the sun goes down I am going to go out on the veranda and eat my dinner, have a drink and listen to the birds.  Wish you guys could be here.  Wild Ed
