Coastal fly fishermen and fly-fishing guides lost a friend and mentor on Monday, as well-known guide Chuck Scates lost his battle with cancer. Good weekend for teal, dove, fish, even geese
Social media posts poured in Monday morning, with hunters and fishermen gloating over their weekend success. Teal hunters led the way, especially in East Texas and along the coast.
