Texas senators on Tuesday urged the state’s six university chancellors not to single out students who carry guns on campus when the state’s new campus carry law goes into effect in August. Some professors in recent days have asked about requiring students with guns to sit in the back of their classrooms, or banning guns in their classes altogether.
