Today the Chronicle of Higher Education featured a story about the battle over concealed carry on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. In June, Texas passed “campus carry,” which will eventually allow concealed-carry permit holders to carry weapons into buildings on campus. Gun control activists reacted with typical shock, outrage, and fear.
